At Nikki’s house, there were many delicious American foods such as burgers, hotdogs and so on. They tasted so good and I ate water melon with Joe and Mike. It also delicious so Mike ate too much!!! Yesterday was beautiful day.
Thank you, Nikki’s parents and Nikki

PK,
What are the differences between a Japanese and American cookout? Is the food very similiar? Maybe one day I will have the opportunity to go to a Japanese cookout.
I bet that when you barbecue in japan, you make different food from what we had yesterday. Hamburgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob, salad, and watermelon are all traditional cookout foods here. I am glad you enjoyed everything! Thanks to Nikki's parents for offering us their wonderful house.
Hello, Tomoya! :)
You had a wonderful time visiting Nikki's house, didn't you? That's very nice!
I went to a cookout at someone's house in Yokohama and the food was very similar. The only difference was the Japanese side dishes (mushrooms and daikon). Also the deck was much smaller!
